Catherine Margaret DORE

Catherine Margaret Dore Weaver (Gigi), a longtime Tarrytown resident died on October 27, 2005 at the age of 78. Catherine was born in New York City on October 21, 1927. She was the daughter of Thomas and Catherine Rowe Dore. She graduated from William A. Bass H.S. in 1943. She moved to Tarrytown in 1952, and in addition to raising her family, she worked at Tarrytown Hall Care Center. Catherine will always be remembered for her devotion to her family. She is survived by her children; Deborah L. (William) Logan of Tarrytown; Glen A. (Colleen) Weaver of Congers; Scott P. (Melissa) Weaver of Tarrytown; Laurie A. (Kevin) Igwe of Tarrytown, and Byron S. (Nancy) Weaver of Wappingers Falls. She is also survived by her grandchildren who were her world, Heather Loftus; William, II; Shawn; Megan; Scotty Jr.; Charlene; Kevin, Jr.; and Mirissa, as well as her great-grandchildren, Brandon and Theo. She is also survived by her sister June Bastian of Florida. She was predeceased by her husband Paul K. Weaver, her parents Thomas Dore and Catherine S. Page, and her brother Stanley Shaughnessy.
