Ray DORÉ

Ray Dore' Born March 3, 1931, Ray passed on October 18, 2005 following his recently deceased wife of 52 years, Jacqueline (Jackie) Born Dore'. He leaves behind their three sons, Don, Lane and Paul, their loving wives, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A U.S. Navy Veteran and graduate of San Jose State, Ray was a dedicated teacher, administrator and mentor in the Alum Rock Elementary School District in San Jose for 35 years. After his retirement, he and Jackie spent their golden years in the mountain community of Arnold, where they enjoyed many new friends and accomplishments. He will be laid to rest at the Santa Cruz Memorial Park on Saturday, October 29th. Immediate family only. Published in the San Jose Mercury News on 10/25/2005.
