WESTMINSTER -- Rosella M. (Doucette) Doucette, 56, of 225 Ashburnham State Road, died Sunday, Dec. 18, in UMass Memorial Hospital, Worcester, after a seven-year courageous battle with ovarian cancer. She was born in Rogersville, New Brunswick, Canada, the daughter of Arthur and Edme`e (Melanson) Doucette. Mrs. Doucette worked at Curtiss Wright for many years. She participated in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life for six years.Mrs. Doucette leaves her loving husband of 36 years, Richard Doucette; one son, Richie Doucette and his wife, Amy, of Glendale, Ariz.; one daughter, Monica Siart and her husband, Bill, of Fitchburg; two grandchildren, Madison Doucette of Glendale, Ariz. and Thomas Siart of Fitchburg; one brother, Rhea`l Doucette and his wife, Elda, of Rogersville, N.B. Canada; six sisters, Lena Doucette and her husband, Eugene, of Rogersville, N.B., Canada, Elva Bourque of B.C., Canada, Lucie Blacquire of St. John, N.B., Canada, Lorrette Parker and her husband, Donn, of Punta Gorda, Fla., Claudelle St. Coeur of Negauc, N.B., Canada, and Annette Doucette and her husband, Gerald, of Lunenburg. She was predeceased by three sisters, Reina Savoie, Dora Bourque, and Velma Bourque, all of Canada.DOUCETTE -- On Dec. 18, Rosella M. (Doucette) Doucette, 56, of Westminster. The funeral will be held Thursday, Dec. 22, from Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Road, Fitchburg, with a Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Denis Church, Ashburnham. Burial will be private. Calling hours are Wednesday, Dec. 21, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
