Nicolas James DUPLANTIS

Nicolas James Duplantis, 19, a native and resident of Houma, died Thursday, Dec. 22, 2005.A memorial service was held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Chauvin Funeral Home.He is survived by his parents, Doyle Timothy Duplantis and Donna Robichaux Duplantis; one brother, Hayes Duplantis and fiancee, Christine Chiasson; two sisters, Jessica McKee Gaudet and husband, Thomas, and Katina McKee and fiance Jarrod Frazier; his grantparents, Philip and Gloria Blanchard Duplantis; three nephews, Blayden Duplantis, Benton Gaudet and Cohen Frazier; and two nieces, Karlee McKee and Nia Duplantis.He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph Raymond Robichaux and Olive Richard Robichaux; and one uncle, Gerald "Butch" Hyde.He was a stock manager at Foot Locker. He was a graduate of Terrebonne High School and loved football, spending time with nieces and nephews and he truly loved family and friends. Therefore, encourage one another and build each other up.He was a parishioner of New Hope Out Reach Center.Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
