Clifford A. DUPONT

Clifford A. Dupont, 52, of Canaan, died suddenly at his home on Friday, October 21, 2005. Mr. Dupont was born in Nashua on February 22, 1953, the son of Albert R. Dupont and Rita C. (Beausoleil) Dupont Garron. He was raised and resided for many years in Nashua. When he moved to the North Country he first lived in Columbia and later in Canaan, where he had resided for 20 years. He was employed at the Beecher Falls Division of Ethan Allen for 17 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. Family members include his mother of Lancaster; his stepfather, George Garron of Lancaster; two brothers, Ronald Dupont of Nashua and William Dupont of Lunenburg, Vt.; a stepbrother, George Garron III and his wife Lucy of Milford, Del.; a stepsister, Paula Norman and her husband Alan of York, Pa.; a nephew, Matthew Dupont, and niece, Kimberly Dupont, both of Nashua; a sister in-law, Maureen Dupont, and a special friend, Rita McKenzie. He was predeceased by his father, Albert. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, November 3 at the Bailey Funeral Home in Lancaster. Reverend David Hannan of the Coös Bible Fellowship will officiate.
