HARWICH - Dorothy (Etz) Trudell, 91, died Saturday at Cape Cod Hospital, Hyannis, after an illness. She was the wife of John Trudell, who died in the 1970s. Mrs. Trudell was born in Concord, N.H., raised in Medford and graduated from Medford High School and Wheaton College, Norton. She was an executive secretary for Masury Young in Charlestown for more than 20 years and then became special events director for the Museum of Science in Boston. She retired after 12 years of service in 1979. In 1983 she moved to Harwich. She was a member of First Congregational Church and was active in the thrift shop and ladies' club. She was also a member and past president of Zonta International, a professional women's service organization. She loved traveling with her niece, Kris Etz, playing Scrabble and singing. Besides her niece, survivors include a brother, John Etz of Brewster; and a nephew. Services are private.
