FAIRFIELD -- Judith "Judy" E. Poulliot, 64, died Thursday, Dec. 22, 2005, at Maine Medical Center in Portland after a brief illness, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Waterville, Sept. 15, 1941, the daughter of Jude and Regina (Carey) Fagan.Judy was a lifelong resident of Fairfield and attended Immaculate Heart of Mary Parochial School. She was a graduate of Lawrence High School, class of 1959. On Sept. 15, 1962, she married Norbert F. Poulliot. They enjoyed 43 wonderful years together, having traveled to many places with family and friends.First and foremost, Judy was a devoted wife, mother, memere and friend.In earlier years, she was employed by Depositor's Trust Co., the Fairfield Police Department and the Morning Sentinel. She was also part of SAD 49's School Crossing Guard Program and served as a member of its school board. She was most recently employed at Mt. St. Joseph Nursing Home and was an active volunteer with HealthReach Hospice.She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and attended Mass weekly at Mt. St. Joseph with her sister, Pat. Judy was a truly selfless person, always putting the needs of others before her own. She was a joy to be around, never failing to see the humor in any situation. She enjoyed going to lunch with her friends and spent countless hours chatting with them by telephone, cell phone and computer. Her mother, father and grandparents predeceased her.In addition to her husband, Nobby, Judy is survived by her two children, Jodi Leclair and her husband, Kenneth, of Fairfield, and their children, Katherine Jean and Joseph Jude, and Jeffrey Poulliot and his wife, Elise, of Oakland, and their children, Andrew Joseph, Nicholas Norbert and a new baby due in June; one sister, Patricia Fagan of Waterville, and two brothers, Robert Fagan and his wife, Rosalie, of Unity and David Fagan and his wife, Patricia, of South Weymouth, Mass.She is also survived by a special mother- and father-in-law, Frederic and Eleanor Poulliot; brothers-in-law, Milton Poulliot and his wife, Sylvia, Ronald Poulliot and his wife, Sandra; sister-in-law, Sherril Bouchard and her husband, Larry; 11 nieces and nephews, along with many other close family members and friends.She will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege to have known her.Family and friends are welcome to visit from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Dec. 26, at Lawry Brothers Funeral Home, 107 Main St., Fairfield. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, at Immaculate Heart of Mary, 21 High St., Fairfield, with the Rev. Chris Piselli, the Rev. Marcel Chounard and the Rev. Bert Poussard as celebrants. Burial will follow in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery.Contributions in Judy's memory can be made to Hospice Volunteers of Waterville Area, 304 Main St., P.O.
