EASTHAMPTON - Rene R. Falardeau, 74, of School St. Easthampton died Saturday, Dec. 17, peacefully at home. He was born in Chicopee, Ma. May 13, 1931, the son of the late Euclid and Blanche (Champagne) Falardeau. He was educated in the Chicopee schools and attended the Mt. Carmel High School. Mr. Falardeau served in the National Guard stationed at the Barnes Air Force Base in Westfield. He Owned and operated the Rene TV in Easthampton for 32 years, retiring earlier this year. Previously he was employed at the Spaudling Co. in Chicopee and at the former George Music Shop in Easthampton. Mr. Falardeau was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Easthampton and was a member of the Easthampton Chamber of Commerce. He was an avid pool player and fisherman. He leaves his wife of 24 years Christine A. (Staples) Falardeau, his son Deren M. Falardeau, his step-son Derrick M. Kalish of Cambridge, MA. His Brothers George Falardeau of Agawam and Claude Falardeau of Rhodes Island. His sisters Irene Gigure and Larrette Sunderland both of Chicopee and Claudette Cote of Holyoke. Several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 7pm at the O'Brien Funeral Home 17 Clark St Easthampton, burial will be at the convince of the family. A calling hour will be held Wednesday 6pm until the time of the service. Memorial Gifts can be made to the Baystate Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice, 50 Maple Street, P.O.
