Armand Louis Faucher, 88, died peacefully on Wednesday, November 9, 2005 at Sunrise Assisted Living. Born in Quebec, Canada, he moved at a young age to Winnipeg, Manitoba, where he met and married Odile Lavallee. In 1957, he moved his family to Culver City, CA, where he continued working as a bread salesman until his retirement in 1976 in Hemet, CA. Throughout his life he was an active member of the Knights of Columbu s, where he held numerous offices. He was also a member of San Carlos Mission and a Eucharistic Minister at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. In his later years, he moved to Claremont, CA to be closer to his family. Armand is survived by his son, Ronald Faucher (Patti) of Northridge, CA; his daughters, Armande McCleery (Tom) of Pascagoula, MS and Lucie Gregoire (Ron) of Claremont, CA. He was a loving grandfather to David McCleery (Felicia), Nicole Sanders (Michael), Marc Gregoire (Lupe), Monique McCleery, Chri stopher Faucher (Andrea), Suzanne Gregoire (Saul), Craig McCleery, Darren Gregoire, Justin Faucher and Gisele Davis (Joey). He was also greatly loved by his great-grandchildren, Jeremy Sanders, Alexander Cotton, Elliot Sanders, Sara Gregoire, Olivia Sanders, Laura Gregoire, Robert Reyes, Lilith Faucher, Joseph Davis, Angele McCleery, Danielle Reyes and Orion Faucher. Viewing will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. prior to service at Holy Cross Cemetery, visitation room A. Funeral mass will be held at Holy Redeemer Chapel at Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City, CA on Monday, November 14, 2005 at 12 Noon. Todd Memorial Chapel, Pomona is in charge of arrangements.
