SHREWSBURY— Dorothy M. “Dot” (Faucher) Brisson, 89, of 10 Mary Scano Drive, Worcester, formerly of Shrewsbury and Ft. Myers, Florida, died Friday, December 23rd in The Christopher House surrounded by her family. Her husband of 55 years, Stanley C. Brisson died in 1995. She leaves three sons and their wives, Robert A. and Elsa Brisson of California, David P. and Mary Lou Brisson of Shrewsbury, Stephan A. and Diane Brisson of Millbury; a sister, Grace Cashen of Billerica; also survived by 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Faucher. Mrs. Brisson was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Ernest J. and Margaret A. (Smith) Faucher, and had lived in Shrewsbury most of her life. She had worked for the former State Mutual Insurance Company in Worcester for several years before she retired in 1985. After her retirement, Dot had moved to Ft. Myers, Florida, for 11 years, before moving back to the Worcester area in 1996. She was a member of Saint Anne’s Parish and the Senior Center, both in Shrewsbury. Dot had several hobbies, including cooking, playing cards with her friends and doing ceramics when she lived in Florida. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Dot’s family on Tuesday, December 27th from 5-8 P.M. in the Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home, 648 Main Street, Shrewsbury. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 28th at 10 A.M. in Saint Anne’s Church, 130 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Shrewsbury.
