OCALA - Jules "Pepere" Forand, 81, a retired carpenter and craftsman died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2005 at his home.A native of Springfield, Mass., Mr. Forand came to Ocala from Fullerton, Calif., in 1991. He attended Queen of Peace Catholic Church and Blessed Trinity Catholic Church. He was founder of the Red Star Steppers and the Corn Huskers Square Dance Club. He was a member of the Men's Club in Massachusetts.Survivors include wife of 58 years, Cecile T. Forand, Ocala; son, Paul A. Forand, Taft, Calif.; daughters, Denise A. Chartier, East Burke, Vt., Yvonne L. Forand, Dunnellon, Aline S. Paquet, Menifee, Calif., Rita A. Forand, Canyon Lake, Calif.; brother, Jacques Forand, Goffstown, N.H.; sister, Francine Paquet, Fullerton, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Michelle Robidoux.Roberts Funeral Home, Bruce Chapel West, provided information.
