Grace Ann FOSTER

Grace Ann (Foster) Quintal, age 70, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2005 at the Westchester Center for Rehabilitation. She was born March 7, 1935 to Robert W. and Margaret (Vee) Foster in Nyack, NY. She came to Mt. Vernon, NY in 1944 with her sister Margaret (Peggy) Foster. Grace Ann graduated from Edison High School in Mt. Vernon. She lived a very active life and was a very religious person who attended St. Ursula's Church and sang in the church choir. She has done voluntary work, teaching religious instructions to children. She also was a den mother for the Cub Scouts. On January 27, 1957 she was married in Our Lady of Victory to Raymond S. Quintal, the love of her life. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Kenneth, Daniel, Raymond and one daughter, Linda, two daughters-in-law, Marie and Erika, a son-in-law, Gregg and three grandchildren, Gary, Sean and Justin, a sister-in-law Mary Quintal and a nephew Michael. She was a wonderful woman, loved by all. She was very generous, always happy and smiling. She loved her family dearly they were her life and she loved them all. Her husband added she was a devoted, loving and cherished wife, mother and grandmother. Friends who wish may gather on Sunday and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, INC., Eastchester. Mass of Christian Burial, Tuesday, July 26th at 10: 00 am at St. Ursula's Church, Mt. Vernon followed by interment at Germonds Cemetery, New City, NY.
