Jeanette B. FREDETTE

PORTLAND - Jeanette B. Miraglia, 90, of Dole Drive, died Oct. 31, 2005 at St. Joseph's Manor following a brief illness. She was born in Methuen, Mass., to Joseph and Blanche Gerome Fredette. She worked in a woolen mill in Lawrence, Mass., where she met her husband, Frank Miraglia. They married in 1935 and eventually moved to Portland to start their family. She was a devoted wife and mother who put everyone else's needs ahead of her own. Her family devotion carried through to her grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she adored. She will be remembered as a most loving, kind-hearted person who will be greatly missed by all. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, playing cards, cooking for family and friends and spending time with loved ones. She was a communicant of St. Pius X Church in Portland. She was predeceased by her husband Frank of 55 years; a daughter, Frances Butts; two sons, Joseph and William; and a grandson, Michael Butts. She is survived by her children, Michael Miraglia, Edward Miraglia and his wife Betty of Portland, Thomas Miraglia of Atlanta, Ga., and a special niece, Ida Haines. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will all deeply miss her.
