Woodrow J. GAGNEPAIN

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Woodrow J. Gagnepain, 88, of Perryville died Thursday, June 16, 2005, at his home. He was born Dec. 2, 1916, in Perry County, Mo., son of Emmet and Mary Cissell Gagnepain. He and Velda Miget were married Jan. 4, 1943. Gagnepain retired from International Shoe Co. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Holy Name Society, and 3rd Degree member of Knights of Columbus Council 1263. He was a 1935 graduate of St. Vincent de Paul High School. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mary Jo Gibbar of O'Fallon, Ill., Anne Donze of Perryville; a son, Francis Gagnepain of Festus, Mo.; a brother, Monroe Gagnepain of Perryville; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers. Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday, and Monday from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. The parish and Knights of Columbus wake will be at 7 p.m. Sunday. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent de Paul Church, with the Revs. Francis Agnew, Kevin Fausz, Bill Thess and John Gagnepain officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
