BLACK, Verna March 8, 1919 - November 22, 2004 Passed away peacefully with her family by her side in Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital on Monday afternoon, Verna Black of White Lake Ontario in her 86th year. Daughter of the late John and Susan (Young) Twa. Beloved wife of the late Owen P. Black (1998). Loving mother of Kenneth (Helen) Black of Arnprior, Gail Manson of White Lake and Dennis Black of Markham. Verna will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Stephen and Robert (Deanna) Black, Rachel Ellis, John and Jennifer Black. She was adored by her four great-grandchildren, Cassandra, Kaitlin and Joshua Ellis and Keegan Black. Dear sister of Harrison Twa of Bancroft and predeceased by a brother, Harold. Verna was a life member of the White Lake Women's Institute and a member of the White Lake United Church. Resting at the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street N. Arnprior where friends may pay their respects on Wednesday 2 - 4 p.m., 7 - 9 p.m. and after 10 a.m. Thursday. Funeral Service will be conducted in the Boyce Chapel, Thursday November 25, 2004 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Donald Anderson and Rev. Milton Fraser officiating. Interment White Lake Community Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the White Lake United Church or a charity of one's choice appreciated by her family.
