Bernard "Ben" J. Gendron, 72, resident of Bradford St. Woonsocket, RI. died on Monday, December 19, 2005 after a long illness. Husband of Jeannette (Lataille) Gendron. He was born April 20, 1933, in Woonsocket, RI Son of the late Eugene and Blanche (Sweeney) Gendron. He worked for the Nelmor Co. in Uxbridge MA. For 43 years, retiring in 2000. He was a graduate of Mount Saint Charles Academy. He was an army veteran. He lived most of his life in Woonsocket. He was a member of the Elks Lodge BPOE #850 and the Cercle Laurier, both of Woonsocket, he enjoyed baseball and was a avid Red Sox fan. Survivors include, Son-Scott Gendron of Smithfield, R.I.; Daughter-Kim Lennox of Woonsocket, R.I. Daughter-Lisa Denault of North Smithfield, R.I.; Brother-Laurent Gendron of Woonsocket, R.I.; Brother-Melvyn Gendron of Woonsocket, R.I. ;Sister-Loraine Cote of Woonsocket, R.I.; Sister-Elaine Henault of North Smithfield, R.I. He was preceded in Death by: Deceased Brother-Eugene Gendron; Deceased Brother-Leonard Gendron; Deceased Brother-Norman Gendron. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren Funeral will be held Friday at 9am from the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Holy Family Church South Main St. Woonsocket, RI. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery Farm St. Blackstone, MA. Calling hours are Thursday, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
