LOWELL -- Doris M. (Gilbride) (Rodgerson) Grenier, 81, a resident of Lowell's Centralville section, died Friday, Dec. 16, at Lowell General Hospital. She was the wife of the late widow of Frank S. Rodgerson and Donald F. Grenier.She was born in Lowell on Sept. 5, 1924, daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Laffey) Gilbride.Mrs. Grenier was a communicant of St. Michael Church where she was a member of the Legion of Mary. She also held membership in the Centralville Senior Citizen Club and the Greater Lowell Senior Citizen Club. She was an avid golfer and a member of Mt. Pleasant golf club. She enjoyed dancing, bowling and playing cards, but most of all, enjoyed spending time with her family.Her survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Gail and Raymond Scanlon, and Ann and Paul Germain, all of Dracut; a sister, Alice Fotopoulos of Lowell; a sister-in-law, Rose Grenier of Dracut; four grandsons and their wives, Douglas and Teri Scanlon, Gregory and Michelle Scanlon, Brian and Sarah Germain, Keith Germain and his companion, Holly Halko; four great-grandchildren, Taylor, Mackenzie, Delaney and Colby Scanlon; and many nieces and nephews.She was also the sister of the late Raymond, William, Charles and Robert Gilbride, and Margaret Gilbert.Published in the Lowell Sun on 12/18/2005.
