Georgianna (Girard) Taylor, of Rhodes Avenue, North Smithfield, died Tuesday, December 27, 2005 in St. Antoine Residence. She was the wife of the late Nicholas Taylor. Born July 5, 1918, in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Fredrick and Panela (Larose) Girard. Georgianna had lived in Cumberland for over twenty years before moving to North Smithfield in 1999. She was employed in food services at the Wrentham State School for twenty years before retiring in 1980. Previously, she had worked at General Motors in Framingham, and the former French Worsted Co, and U.S. Rubber in Woonsocket. She was formerly a Communicant of St. Louis Church, now All Saints Church, in Woonsocket. She is survived by one son, Russell Taylor of North Smithfield; a sister, Beatrice Milligan of East Douglas, MA., two grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Frederick and Ernest Girard, Loretta Labonne, and Florence Julien. A Funeral Service will be Friday at 12noon in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket, RI 02895. Burial will follow in St John the Evangelist Cemetery, North Smithfield.
