Catherine GOUDY

CONWAY, N.H. - Catherine (Goudy) Allard, 90, of West Side Rd., Conway, N.H., died Nov. 29, 2005 at Memorial Hospital in North Conway, N.H. She was born July 5, 1915 in Bristol, daughter of the late Henry and Dora (Hennings) Goudy. Mrs. Allard was a 1933 graduate of Lincoln Academy in Newcastle. She also graduated from Pelletier's Beauty School in Lewiston in 1936. In 1938 she married Woodrow W. Allard and moved to Rockhouse Mountain Farm in Eaton, N.H. In 1946 they moved to Shady Elm Farm in Conway, N.H. She was a beautician for about 43 years and operated her own shop, the Vogue Beauty Shop in Conway from 1951-1983 . Mrs Allard was an active member of the Elmwood Grange, ReBecka Lodge, LEA and Calvin Topliff Easter Star. Predeceased by her husband Woodrow W. Allard in 2004; and son, Paul W. Allard in 2003. She leaves a daughter, Judy A. Harrison of Center Ossipee, N.H.; five grandchildren; and six great- grandchildren. There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in the Conway Village Cemetery. The Baker-Gagne Funeral Home and Cremation Service of West Ossipee, N.H., is in charge of the arrangements.
