Visitation for Colleen Chenore, 84, of Beaverville, will be from 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday at Clancy-Gernon-Houk Funeral Home, St. Anne. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Beaverville, where she was a member. Burial will be in St. Anne Cemetery. Memorials may be made for the restoration of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She died Wednesday (Sept. 7, 2005) at the Iroquois Resident Home, Watseka. Mrs. Chenore was a homemaker. She was born Jan. 26, 1921, in St. Anne, the daughter of Earl and Hattie Trudeau Goyette. Her husband, Viator "Mac" Chenore, whom she married Aug. 23, 1941, in St. Anne, died July 11, 2001. Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Dr. Douglas Hixon of Laramie, Wyo.; three grandchildren, Todd Hixon of Laramie, Tricia (Colby) Neeb of Ft. Collins, Colo., Tasha (Scott) Cleland of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and four great-grandchildren, Shaylee and Elayna Hixon, Jakob Neeb and Isabel Cleland. Deceased are her parents, one sister, Darlene Yonke; and one brother, Weldon Goyette.
