Bernice Arseneau -- Bradley --- Bernice Arseneau, 88, of Bradley, died Friday (Dec. 23, 2005) at Provena Our lady of Victory Nursing Home. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home, Bourbonnais. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bradley. Her son, Father Vernon Arseneau, will officiate. Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Provena Our Lady of Victory or Hospice of Kankakee Valley. Mrs. Arseneau was born Nov. 28, 1917, in St. George, the daughter of Eugene and Regina Bouchard Granger. Her husband, Joseph Arseneau, whom she married Jan. 21, 1939, in St. George, died May 31, 2002. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradley and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Surviving are one daughter, Marie Tanner of Santa Clarita, Calif.; three sons and one daughter-in-law, Rev. Vernon Arseneau of Momence; Gene Arseneau of Avondale, Ariz.; Ron and Beth Arseneau of Arlington, Texas; six grandchildren; and two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Granger of Bradley and Louise Arseneau of Kankakee. Four brothers, Lloyd, Harold, Orville and Edgar; and four sisters, Edna Granger, Stella Blanchette, Lorene Hebert and Marie Cassidy, are deceased.
