CANTERBURY -- Constance G. Morin, 81, formerly of Concord, died Friday, Dec. 2, 2005, at Canterbury Hall in Canterbury. Born in Woodstock, she was the daughter of Arthur and Arline (Thurston) Gray. She worked as an assembler for Sprague Electric for many years. Constance was a special lady who was known for her caring spirit. She was loved by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She often provided a home for foster children and shelter for friends and family when needed. Her grandchildren called her Cookie Grammie and her chocolate chip cookies provided a touch of home to soldiers during three wars as well as for family and friends around the globe. She was the best mom and mother-in-law in the whole world. Survivors include her son, David A. Morin of Bedford; a daughter, Sandra L. Hoffmeister of She was predeceased by her husband, Winston Sprague, who died in 2003; and her first husband, Joseph Morin, who died in 1976. Calling hours will not be held. Burial will be held privately at Blossom Hill Cemetery in Concord. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice. Bennett Funeral Home in Concord is in charge of the arrangements.
