WHITEFIELD — Norman B. Grimard, 75, of 14 Highland Street, Whitefield, died at his residence on Monday, August 8, 2005.He was born in Berlin, the son of Joseph and Vitaline (Robidoux) Grimard.Mr. Grimard spent most of his life in the Whitefield area, working for the state Highway Department, Groveton Paper Company, and finally as a self-employed handyman around town.He served in the Army and was a member of the VFW, American Legion, and the DAV.The family includes two sons, Melvyn Grimard of Malden, Mass. and Patrick Grimard of Whitefield; a daughter, Martha Verret of Bethlehem; four grandchildren; two brothers, Raymond Grimard of Nashua and Robert Grimard of Whitefield; two sisters, Rita Altamouro of Houston, Tex., and Theresa Stevens of Concord.A gathering of family and friends was held at the McIntyre School Hall in Whitefield on Saturday, with a memorial service following.
