Odette J. Hanover, born November 30, 1927, passed away July 8, 2005. Odette was born in France, but since childhood she always wanted to live in America. She attended Beoux Arts University in Paris and received her degree in Fashion Design. In 1949, she got her break when Jantzen Knitting Mills of Portland, OR, was sco uting in Paris for fashion designers. Odette moved to the Los Angeles area in 1963 and served in several fashion management positions before retirement. She also managed two apartment buildings for 26 years and loved gardening. She is survived by Dale, her husband of 45 years; sisters, Fernande Crowell of NY and Simone Le Clerc of France; and brother, Marcel Grippon of France.
