GROS, RAYMOND JOSEPH "Big Daddy" A resident of Donaldsonville and a native of Bruly St. Martin, he was entrusted to God's loving care on Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2005, at Summit Hospital of Baton Rouge. He was 74 and a retired tool pusher. Visitation at Ourso Funeral Home, Donaldsonville, on Wednesday, Dec. 28, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and on Thursday from 8 a.m. until funeral service at 9:30 a.m., celebrated by the Rev. Phil Spano. Entombment in the church mausoleum. He is survived by his bride of 56 years, Joyce Cavalier Gros of Donaldsonville; two sons, Raymond Grip" Gros of Bruly McCall and Lonnie and wife Belinda Millien Gros of Donaldsonville; two daughters, Brenda G. and husband Lennis Blanchard Sr. of Pierre Part and Becky G. and husband Jeffery Rametta of Denham Springs; two brothers, Emile Gros of Erwinville and Leo Gros of Napoleonville; three sisters, Rita Fontenot of Ville Platte and Norma Deslatte and Julie Albarado, both of Pierre Part; and three grandsons, nine granddaughters and 16 great-grandchildren, all of them precious to him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles "Charley" and Bernadette Thibodaux Gros; infant sister, Iris Gros; brother, Norris Gros Sr.; and daughter-in-law, Pamela Acosta Gros.
