Ernest J. GUIMOND

CLEARWATER, Fla. - Ernest J. Guimond of Clearwater, Fla., formerly of York, died Oct. 11, 2005 in Clearwater following a brief illness. He was born in Portland, the son of Ernest and Stella (Jacques) Guimond. He was a 1952 graduate of Portland High School and a 1956 graduate of Gorham State Teachers College. Mr. Guimond was a teacher and school administrator. He began his career in Thomaston, and continued in York, and Portsmouth, N.H., retiring in 1990. He was predeceased by a sister, Patricia (Guimond) Lee. He is survived by his two children, Lori (Guimond) Glenn and her husband Paul, and two granddaughters, Noelle and April of Rochester, N.H.; son, Ernest J., Jr. of Osaka, Japan.; sister, Mrs. Robert (Corali) Stuart of South Portland; and several nieces and nephews. There will be visiting hours 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 6 at the Lucas & Eaton Funeral Home, 91 Long Sands Rd., York.
