Herman, Lucille Marie Guimont -- Born on April 29, 1913 in Dayton, Minnesota. Passed away peacefully in her home on Oct. 2, 2005 in Los Angeles. Survived by her devoted husband, Sigmund D. Herman; her loving children Gary (Beverly) Herman, Connie Herman, Kathleen (John) Nally, Carlotta (Knox) Mellon, Richard (Debi) Herman and Donald (Judi) Herman; her very dear grandchildren Gary John (Stacy) Herman, Gregory (Colleen) Herman, Jeffrey (Sandra) Herman, Judith Powers, Joel Powers, Jennifer (Richard) Maples, Shannon (Thorsten) Huhn, Erin (Jean) Lapeyre, John Nally, Jr., Maureen Nally, Matthew Nally, Patrick Nally, Stefanie (Kevin) Karo, Paul (Amy) Herman, Andrea Herman, Christopher Herman, John Herman, Kathleen King, John King, Violet Herman, D.J. Herman and Caleb Herman; and her dear great grandchildren Sean, Nicole, Kelly, Christina, Chelsea Katheryn, Kimberly, Elizabeth and Matthew Herman, Kyle and Sean Powers, Christopher and Michael Maples, Christopher and Sean Lapeyre, Michael and Christopher Karo and her sister, Lorraine Beltrand; sister-in-law Gen. Burke; brothers-in-law Ray Choromanski and Jerry (Ursela) Choromanski, many nieces and nephews, and many dear friends. Lucille was a very beautiful person inside and out, and her life was devoted to her husband and family. She was a 52 year active member of Cathedral Chapel Catholic Church, a member of Social Service Auxiliary, Good Shepherd Center for Homeless Women and Children, St. John of God Hospitaller Foundation and the Sisters of Immaculate Heart Auxiliary. Rosary Thursday at 7:30 PM. Funeral Mass Friday at 10:30 AM both at Cathedral Chapel Catholic Church, 927 S. LaBrea Ave. at Olympic, Los Angeles. Principal Celebrant Monsig. Donal Mulcahy. Donations in her honor may be made to Good Shepherd Center for Homeless Women, 1650 Rockwood St., L.A. 90026 or Sisters of Social Service, 2303 Figueroa St., L.A. 90007.
