CADYVILLE -- Valeda M. Prunier, 94, of Cadyville, died Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2005, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.She was born in Saranac on Jan. 22, 1911, the daughter of Charles and Mary (King) Hackett.She enjoyed playing pinochle.She is survived by two sisters and a brother-in-law, Vivian Hackett and Valerie and James Demo, all of Plattsburgh; many nieces and nephews; a special friend, Louise Rascoe; and many loving friends and neighbors including Enola Craig.Her husband, Henry Prunier died in 1996. Six brothers, Lawson, Edgar, Wilmer, Kenneth, Burton and Malcolm Hackett; and three sisters, Clayda Revoir, Veredith Tyndall and Viola Duquette, also died earlier.Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 3 to 7 p.m. at the O'Neill-Redden-Drown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday from St. James Church in Cadyville. Interment will be in St. Alexander's Cemetery in Morrisonville in the spring.
