Arthur L. HAMEL

WILDWOOD - Arthur L. Hamel, 85, a retiree of Prudential Insurance Co., died Thursday, Dec. 14, 2005. A native of Pittsburgh, he was an active member of the Wildwood Methodist Church and a founding member of Aldersgate Methodist Church in Pinellas County. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He is survived by his sons, Will Hamel. Parkland, David Hamel, Sarasota, and Christopher Hamel, Summerfield; sister, Norma McNeal, Wildwood; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Marjorie Hamel, and his son, Douglas Hamel.Banks/Page-Theus Funeral Home, Wildwood, provided information.
