Vallier, Virginia A. (Ginny) -- Saginaw, Michigan -- Passed away suddenly Saturday, July 16, 2005, at Covenant-Cooper. Age 70 years. The daughter of Albert and Virginia Hammond was born September 3, 1934 in Indiana. She married Vernon Vallier, May 31, 1953. He survives her. She enjoyed collecting Unicorns and working her puzzle books. Surviving besides her husband are two sons, Steven Vallier, Mark Vallier, three daughters and their spouses, Linda (Joe) Wardell, Laurie (Ted) Yancer, Kathy (John) Ledbetter, all of Saginaw; fifteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren; two brothers, Allen McCabe, Florida; Dennis (Dianna) McCabe, Rochester Hills, MI.; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sons, William A. Vallier, Vernon J. Vallier, a granddaughter, Janet L. Wardell, a daughter-in-law, Wendy S. (Dutcher) Vallier and a son-in-law, Ronald G. Griffus. The funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 21, 2005, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel 409 Adams St. Pastor Weatherly Verhelst will officiate with burial in Oakgrove Cemetery. Friends may call at Chapel from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday.
