FAIRFIELD -- Antoinette Theresa Rice of Fairfield passed away on Friday, Nov. 25, 2005, at MaineGeneral Medical Center, Thayer Unit, in Waterville.She was born in Benton on March 27, 1928, the daughter of Jean and Odila (Pouliot) Hebert.After finishing her schooling, she married Donald Rice.She was employed as a secretary in the retail field for many years.Antoinette was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Fairfield where she was a Eucharistic Minister and an Acolyte along with her sister, Rita, helping Father during funeral services.She was a champion bowler and excelled in the sport.She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.Antoinette was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Donald, who passed away in 1968; her sister, Yvette; and her son-in-law, Robert Nason.She is survived by her daughters, Cecile Nason of Winslow and Ft. Myers, Fla., and Jennifer Dupont and her husband, Thomas, of Greene; her sons, David Rice and his wife, Peggy, of Lincolnville, and Michael Rice and his wife, Jennifer, of Canaan; her brothers, Rene Hebert of Massachusetts and Donald Hebert of Skowhegan; her sisters, Sylvia Labbe of Fairfield, Francis Plante of Winslow, and Rita Hebert of Shawmut; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one stepgrandson; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 28, at Lawry Brothers Funeral Home, 107 Main St., Fairfield. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 1 p.m. also on Monday, Nov. 28, at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Fairfield.
