Ron HEBERT

A celebration of the life of Ron Hebert, 71, of Holly Hill, Fla., who died at home Tuesday, April 19, 2005, after his battle with pancreatic cancer, will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2005, at The Roxy in Oshkosh. Ron retired in 1997 after selling Ice & Juice Systems, Inc. He and his wife, Dolly, enjoyed traveling and collecting. Ron also ran the Stardust Lounge and the Daytona Connection during his working years in Florida. Prior to moving to Daytona Beach, Fla., he raised a family and 48 foster children in Oshkosh, Wis., where he and his first wife, Judy (deceased), were named Foster Parents of the year many times. He was a disabled veteran, who served in the Korean Conflict. He ran Judy’s Gin Mill in Oshkosh, Wis. Ron enriched our lives. His decision to donate organs continues to make life better for others.Survivors include his wife, Dolly; a son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Kirsten Hebert of Oshkosh, Wis.; a daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Don Crabb of Ormond Beach, Fla.; five grandchildren, Billie Jo Kaler and Jessica Marcoe of Ormond Beach, Fla., Ethan, Ron III and Charlie Hebert of Oshkosh, Wis., and their families; three brothers, Bernie and Phyllis Hebert of Las Vegas, Nev., Leo and Edna Hebert of Rayville, La., and Gerald Hebert of Oshkosh, Wis.; three sisters, Edie Bleichwehl of Oshkosh, Wis., Margaret and Eugene Krause of Fond du Lac, Wis., and Dorothy and Irv Schmick of Markesan, Wis., and their families.
