Richard Leo Houle, a longtime Sierra Madre/Altadena resident, died unexpectedly November 8, 2005 at his home in Washington State. He was 43. Richard attended St. Ritas School, La Salle High School and Cal State L.A. locally. He is survived by his two sons, Justin Richard Houle (18), and James Michael Houle (16) and wife Theresa Houle, all of Altadena; sisters Suzanne Russert of WA, Micheline Bartley of MT, brothers Andre of NM and Robert of TX and many nieces and nephews. Richard worked for many years locally as an auto mechanic. He will be remembered by family, friends and co-workers for his sense of humor, intelligence, musical talent, love of drag racing, mechanical skills and enjoyment of the outdoors. Services were be held Saturday, November 19th, 2005 in Washington State. Published in the Pasadena Star-News on 11/22/2005.
