Lois R. HOVDE

Lois R. Dumond, 79, of Eau Claire died Wed. June 8, 2005, at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire.She was born in Rock Falls on June 17, 1925, the daughter of Otto and Esther (Brun) Hovde. She married Donald Dumond. Lois was a member of the Helping Hands, Town of Union and the Rock Falls Girls. She and Don enjoyed traveling around the country to visit their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Donald; her children, Kathleen Rust of Villa Ridge, Missouri, Roger (Pamela) Dumond of Coulterville, Illinois, Debra Dumond of Eau Claire and Robert (Ann) Dumond of Chippewa Falls; a brother, Hubert (Marge) Hovde of St. Paul, Minn.; and a sister, Carol (Donald) Brown of Eau Claire. She is further survived by five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a twin sister, Lucille Pape.Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Stokes & Mundt Funeral Chapel, 535 S. Hillcrest Pkwy. (Hwy 12 East) in Altoona, with Pastor Christine Emerson of Trinity Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will be at Trinity Cemetery, Fall Creek. Family and friends may call Sunday from 3-6 p.m. and Monday an hour before services at the funeral chapel.
