Bertha Hendrika JOHNSON

Bertha Hendrika Gauthier, 92, went home to be with the Lord on November 7, 2005 in San Antonio, TX. She was born in Marquette, Michigan, on November 30, 1912. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert; her parents, Charles and Johanna Johnson; a brother, Carl Johnson; two sisters, Viola Fox and Eleanora Lescelius. Bertha is survived by two daughters, Marilyn Cervantes and husband Richard of Schertz, TX, and Christine Ruble and husband Bill of Lago Vista, TX; grandsons Gary Deater and wife Jackie, Steven Deater and wife Stacy, both of Schertz, TX, Jerry Koepp and wife Devonne of Des Moines, Iowa, and granddaughter Cindy Koepp of Hutto, TX; and six great-grandchildren, Cody, Tyler, Madison and Kylie Deater, and Zachary and Alyssa Koepp; a sister, Lillie Johnson, of Marquette MI; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff of Autumn Winds Retirement Lodge in Schertz and the staff of Park Lane West Healthcare in San Antonio for their compassionate and loving care given to our loved one. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the music department of Cibolo Valley Baptist Church. A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM 11:00 AM on Friday, November 11, 2005 at Cibolo Valley Baptist Church with funeral services to begin at 11:00 AM.
