Rosilda M. JOLIN

Clough, Rosilda M. (Jolin), of Victory Highway, Slatersville, a lifelong North Smithfield resident, died on November 10, 2005, in Bayberry Commons, Pascoag. Born February 13, 1909, she was the daughter of the late Felix and Delphine (Racine) Jolin. She was the wife of the late Ernest R. Clough Jr. She was the mother of Ernest Clough III, of Slatersville, with whom she lived and Lucy Davis of Tucson, AZ. She was the grandmother of five, the great-grandmother of six and the great-great grandmother of four. Mrs. Clough was pre-deceased by her siblings, Felix, Eli, William, Asbie, Pearl, and Lorraine Jolin, Eva Dufresne, Laura Dugas, Alice Lavallee, Delphine Lafleur, Aldea Leduc, and Cora Whitton. Mrs. Clough had been a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church in Slatersville. She had been employed by the former Amperex, now Phillips, for twenty years, and later for Delsesto Bakery in Slatersville for fifteen years before retiring in the early 1990’s. Private funeral services were under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket.
