Marvin G. JOYAL

DOLLAR BAY, MI -- Marvin G. Joyal, 83, of Dollar Bay, died on Tuesday, November 8, 2005, at the home of his niece in Point Mills. He was born in Point Mills on September 28, 1922, to the late Joseph and Delia (Beaudoin) Joyal. He graduated from the Dollar Bay High School. Marvin lived much of his life in Dollar Bay, working at Horner Flooring Mill for 47 years.He was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Dollar Bay.Marvin was preceded in death by brothers John (Milma), William (Helia) and Lawrence (Eleanor) Joyal; sisters Antoinette (Edwin) Lahikainen and Victoria (Yalmer) Binoniemi.Surviving are his caregivers through his illness, nephew Gerald (Helen) Joyal and niece Faye (Rodney) Granroth; special great-nieces Beth Warester and Shawna Joyal and by other nieces and nephews. He also leaves special friends, Kay and Bill Latvala and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Parades; a cousin, Mrs. Raymond Franz and by his beautiful pet dog, "Uffy".Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday at the First Lutheran Church with Rev. Katrina Gallagher to officiate. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Houghton. The O'Neill-Dennis Funeral Home in Hancock is in charge of the arrangements.
