Frank Felton JULIEN Of Kirkland, passed away on Dec. 18, 2005 at the age of 89. Frank was born in Seattle, WA on Dec. 18, 1916. He graduated from Queen Anne High School and the University of Washington, School of Pharmacy, and was a practicing pharmacist for 30 years. Frank was a Captain in the 12th Field Artillery during World War II, earning five bronze stars. Following the war, he operated Julien's Pharmacy on Queen Anne Hill until 1972. At that time, he and his wife moved to Kirkland, and upon retirement partcipated in Kirkland Senior Center activities for over 20 years. Frank had been a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Elks and Scouting. As a boy, he earned the Eagle Award, and as an adult, served as Commissioner of Troop 77 for many years. Frank is survived by Mary, his wife of 64 years, his brother, Jack, 5 children, (Robert Julien, Suzanne Beckmann, Donald Julien, Paul Julien and Katherine Barrows), 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his in-laws, Bill, Joyce and Marian Powers, Lorraine Julien, and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 22, at Sunset Hills Funeral Home in Bellevue. Published in print on 12/21/2005.
