ROBARGE, Helen T. - Of Alpena, formerly of Davison, age 89, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2005 at Alpena Regional Medical Center. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Friday, October 21, 2005 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 N. Dayton St., Davison, Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski, celebrant. Burial will follow in Meadowview Memorial Gardens. Visitation, at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 E. Davison Rd., Davison, will be 1-8 PM Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society for Breast Cancer Research. Helen was born September 10, 1916, in Posen MI, daughter of the late John and Veronica (Somolinski) Kapala. She married Arthur Robarge in October 1934. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Alpena, and a former member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Davison. She was a caring soul who loved life and would always help people who were in need. She was active in Bible studies and enjoyed Polish music. She is survived by: her children, Shirley Beaulieu of Alpena, William (fiancée Bernie) of Seymour IN, Janet (Charles) McDaniel of Otisville, Darlene (William) Dale of Millington, Edward of Alpena and George (Lisa) of Davison; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Eugene Kapala of Clare, Martha Wertz of Centerline, Edna Parker of Warren and Chester Kapala of Alpena. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur; son, Arthur Dale; daughter, Marie; siblings, Stella, Harry, Margie, Arlene, Philip and Raymond.
