DANBURY -- Anna M. (Karos) Tanguay, 94, of School Pond Road, died Sunday, Dec. 25, 2005, at home. She was born in Middleboro, Mass., April 2, 1911, the daughter of Michael and Anna (Wagner) Karos. She graduated from Dorchester (Mass.) High School. Mrs. Tanguay owned and operated Linton's Beauty Shop in Dorchester, Mass. She resided in Rhode Island before moving to Danbury more than 40 years ago. While in Danbury, she had been employed by IPC in Bristol for seven years and Webster Valve for five years. Mrs. Tanguay had been a trustee at the George Gambel Library and was a member of the Fleet Reserve Association Ladies Auxiliary. Her husband, Zoel Tanguay, died in 1974. Graveside services will be held at Nemasket Hill Cemetery in Middleboro, Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Danbury Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 149, Danbury 03230. Chadwick Funeral Home in New London is in charge of the arrangements.
