DRACUT -- Anne D. (Keefe) Gagne, 92, a Dracut resident who was a retired assembler, died Wednesday, Dec. 14, at a local nursing home. She was the wife of the late Russell P. Gagne.She was born in North Andover, Nov. 28, 1913, daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Gibbons) Keefe. She graduated from Lawrence High School.Before retiring, Mrs. Gagne was an assembler for Western Electric Corp. which became AT&T. Previously, she worked in the Wood mills in Lawrence. She was a member of the Commercial Workers of America.Mrs. Gagne was a communicant of St. Louis de France Church.Family members said she was a hard worker and an excellent seamstress who made many of her children's clothes.She is survived by a son, Elias E. Gagne of Methuen; four daughters and a son-in-law, Patricia R. and Leo N. Dussault of Lowell, Elaine C. Deloge of Derry, N.H., Irene "Mickey" McIlwain of Methuen, Renee F. Gagne of Chicago; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.Published in the Lowell Sun on 12/17/2005.
