Margaret "Jane" (Kelley) Bernier, 78, of Enfield, widow of Rene Bernier, entered into eternal peace, Tuesday (November 15, 2005). She was born in Hartford, April 27, 1927, the daughter of the late Thomas F. and Mary Louise (Courtney) Kelley. Jane had resided in Enfield for over 40 years and made St. Thomas her second home. She was a member of the 1945 graduating class of Hartford Public High School and received her degree in nursing from Hartford Hospital in 1951. Jane was employed at Hartford Hospital for 33 years and then with Parkway Pavilion of Enfield. Family and friends filled her life and her pride and joy were her eight great grandchildren. Jane had a great affinity for her Irish Heritage and had an interest in collectible glassware. Jane is survived by her daughter, Bonnie (Camp) Damonte and husband John; her son, John Camp and wife Sheryl, all of Enfield; her special friend, Arthur Legault of Enfield; two stepchildren, Janice Gudinkas of West Willington and Gary Gudinkas of Suffield and six grandchildren, Dylan Lomba, Ian Camp, Tyleen Maloney and husband Trevor, Jessica Porcello and husband Jamie and Megan and Amy Camp. She also leaves eight great grandchildren who lovingly called her "GG"; Kaela, Lynesey, Jesse James, Tyler, Haley, Jenna, Will and Grace. Jane was predeceased by her brother John Henry "Jack" Kelley and a great grandchild Jacob "Jack" Thomas Mayers. Jane's family wishes to extend a special thanks to the staff of Hartford Hospital Bliss – 5 E, especially Donna G., Michelle, Laura, Wendy and all the PCA's especially Tackia and Diane. A graveside service will he held Saturday, November 19, at 11:30 a.m. in Hazardville Cemetery. Memorial donations in Jane's memory may be made to V.N.A. Healthcare "HOPE" Program, 103 Woodland St., Hartford, CT or the Hartford Hospital Palliative Care Unit, 80 Seymour St., Hartford, CT 06102.
