Charles "Charlie" Ross Murdoch Funeral arrangements by Lindsay's Windsor Funeral Home Charles Ross “Charlie” Murdoch, age 63, of Tonge Hill, Hants County, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2004, at his home. Born in Windsor, Nova Scotia, he was the son of the late Charles Arthur and Irene (McPhee) Murdoch. He was employed for over 20 years, with the Nova Scotia Liquor Commission, retiring in December 2002. He was a veteran firefighter of the Windsor Fire Department. He also worked for 10 years as an Imperial Oil Agent, Windsor. Surviving is his loving wife of 39 years, the former Marina Weatherbee; daughters, Christina (John) Sheppard, Falmouth; Gina (Jason) Cochrane, Windsor; son, Scott (Paula) Murdoch, South Brook, Newfoundland; grandchildren, John, Jason and Chad; sister, Delores (Bert) Bell, Brandon, Manitoba; also surviving is a daughter, Kim (Rob) Bland and their children, Nicholas, Christopher and Victoria, of New Glasgow. Cremation has taken place under the care of Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King Street, Windsor. No visitation by request. Funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, November 28th, 2004, in the Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Bill Gibson officiating. Burial will be held at a later date. Family flowers only, donations in Charlie’s memory, may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Windsor Fire Department or to a charity of one’s choice.
