BOISJOLY, IDA KOENIG, 64, died on August 18, 2005, in South Miami Hospital surrounded by her family. Ida was born in Proussisch-Aue, Germany, on August 12, 1941, to Gustav and Hulda Koenig. The Koenig family came to the United States in 1952, sponsored by Lillian and Arnold Bender and the Lutheran church. Ida graduated from Lyman Memorial High School in Lebanon, Connecticut in 1958, married Donald Henry Boisjoly (deceased) and moved to Miami, Florida. Ida became a U.S. citizen in 1971. She worked as an Assistant Treasurer/ Officer for Republic National Bank until her retirement. She was also a longtime member of Christ the King Lutheran Church. Ida is survived by her three children: Donald William Boisjoly and his wife, Alina, James Lee Boisjoly and his wife, Lisa, Jeanne Marie Cravens and her husband, Leon; her seven grandchildren: Jennifer Marie Boisjoly, Nicholas Randolph Tomczak, Andrew James Boisjoly, Matthew William Boisjoly, Justin Daniel Cravens, Jessica Marie Cravens, and Zachary James Boisjoly of Miami, Florida; her mother, Hulda Koenig; brother, Waldemar Koenig and his wife, Donna of Lebanon, Connecticut; her sister, Maria Niles of Columbia Connecticut; her niece, Janis McLaughlin and husband, Kevin and their daughter, Erin of Ashville North Carolina; and her beloved little dog, Daisy. A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 22nd at 7pm at Christ the King Lutheran Church at 11295 SW 57th Avenue, in Miami, Florida (305-665-5063). Funeral/burial services for Ida will be handled by the Potter Funeral Home in Willimantic, Connecticut (860.423.2211). Her favorite color for flowers was yellow.
