Joseph A. LA POINTE

SALT SPRINGS - Joseph A. La Pointe, 91, a retired respiratory therapist with Hialeah Hospital, died Friday, Dec. 9, 2005, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.A native of Van Buren, Maine, he moved to Salt Springs from Hialeah in the early 1970s. Mr. La Pointe was a member of Salt Springs Christian Church, and was a former Clay County Electric and Salt Springs Campground employee.Survivors include his sons, Richard and Archie La Pointe, both of Salt Springs, Robert La Pointe, Coral Springs, and Ronnie Fredrick, North Carolina; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary S. La Pointe.Hiers Funeral Home of Ocala provided information.
