Richard M. LABELLE

LATHAM, NY -- Richard Rich M. LaBelle, 65, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 17, 2005. His family was by his side at the time of his passing, which occurred in the comfort of his home. Born in Troy on October 6, 1940, Rich was the son of the late Frank and Mary Palmer LaBelle. He married the former Mary H. McDonald and the pair shared a wonderful union of 13 years prior to their being wed on November 3 of this year. Rich was a laborer for many years at the St. Pius X Church in Loudonville, a position from which he retired in 2004. An avid cat fancier, he enjoyed spending time with his four favorite felines, Bandit, Socks, Fluffy and Tiger. Rich is survived by his beloved wife Mary at home; several nieces and nephews, in-laws and his four feline companions. In keeping with Rich's wishes, there will be no visitation. A memorial service and celebration of Rich's life will take place at St. Pius X Church in Loudonville at a later date and at a time to be announced. Published in the Albany Times Union on 12/18/2005.
