Edgar E. LaBine, 88, Argyle, MN, passed away on Monday, Dec. 26, 2005 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND. Edgar Edward LaBine was born on Dec. 10, 1917 in Argyle, the son of Edward & Edwidge (Parent) LaBine. He was raised in rural Argyle where he attended country school. On Oct. 11, 1937, Edgar married Alice Laurin in Argyle. They made their home in Argyle where they farmed. Alice died on March 21, 1995. He was a member of the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and the Argyle Lions. Edgar enjoyed restoring Ford Model A's and T's. He also liked to fish and garden. Left to mourn his passing are his four children; June (Doug) Benson of Grand Forks, ND, Beverly (Marshall) Fulks of Warren, MN, Sandra (Everett) Doolittle of Cottage Grove, MN and Ken LaBine of Argyle, MN, eighteen grandchildren, thirty-four great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, brother, Wallace (Janet) LaBine of Argyle, MN, three sisters; Lucille (Bill) Robertson of Argyle, MN, Rita (George) Either of Wahpeton, ND and Marie Seamen of East Moline, IL, special friend, Dorothy Loken of Waseca, MN and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, three brothers; Octave, Joseph and Leo and three sisters; Bernadette Sailor, Theresa Laurin and Alice Gerhardt. Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 30, 2005 at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Argyle, MN. Visitation: One hour before services at the church.
