STELLY Funeral services for Mrs. Eloise Lafleur Stelly, age 84 years, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 24, 2005, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel of Opelousas, LA. Father Cremaldi will officiate the services. Burial will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery of Opelousas. Mrs. Stelly died on Tuesday, February 22, 2005, in her residence. She was a native of Grand Prairie, LA and a resident of Lafayette, LA. She was a past member of the Ladies Altar Society of Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church of Opelousas and Holy Cross Catholic Church of Lafayette,. LA. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include: her husband, D. J. Stelly of Lafayette; three sons: John Ray Stelly and wife, Beverly Frey Stelly of Metairie, LA; Harry James Stelly and wife, Mary Ellen Foreman Stelly of Lafayette; and Dale Joseph Stelly and wife, Christine Earl Stelly of Maurice, LA; one daughter, Dianne Marie Fields of Houston, TX; 11 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie and Armeade Ardoin Lafleur; 4 brothers; and 2 sisters. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, February 23, 2005 from 4:00 until 10:00 p.m. and again on Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until the time of services. A Rosary Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home. Pallbearers will be John Stelly II, Nicholas Stelly, Harry ""Kip'' Stelly II, David LeBlanc, Mac Stelly and Dale Prudhomme. Honorary Pallbearer will be: Mark Phillip Stelly.
