Ruth H. La Fleur, aged 93, of Wyoming, formerly of North Haledon, New Jersey, went to be with her Lord Friday, December 23, 2005. She was preceded in death by her husband, William, who died in 1995. Surviving are her three children, William (Mariko) La Fleur of Philadelphia, PA, Lois (Jack) Vredevoogd of Wyoming, Margretta (Stuart) Baukema of Denver, CO; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Anna Hutton; several nieces and nephews. Ruth's family and friends will miss her, and her wonderful sense of humor. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at 44th Christian Reformed Church, 1029 - 44th Street SW, with Rev. Vlaardingerbroek officiating. Entombment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will meet relatives and friends at the church Tuesday 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Bethany Christian Servics.
