Jerome J. LAFRAMBOISE

LaFramboise, Jerome J. "Joe" -- Bay City, Michigan-- Wonderful husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 21, 2005, at his home at the age of 64. The eleventh of fourteen children, Joe was born July 12, 1941 in Auburn to the late Horace and Martha (Reuther) LaFramboise. He married the former Patricia C. Tolsdorf June 16, 1962 in Holy Trinity Catholic Church; she survives him. Joe had many building and business ventures including owning and operating Little Caesars. He was a devoted family man who enjoyed hunting and spending time up north. Surviving besides Patricia, his loving wife of 43 years, are six children: Chris (Beth) LaFramboise and their children Andrew, Joshua and Katelyn, Jeffrey (friend Jill) LaFramboise, Lynn (Chris) Worden and their children Jessica, Cole and Willa, Karen (Chris) Skowronski and their children Veronica, Abigail and Kyle, Keith LaFramboise, and Diane (Nick) Pellegrino and their children Selina, Harleigh, Nicholas, Tucker and Zander; his son-in-law Robert White; three sisters Bernie (Mike) Michalak, Therese (Tom) Reer, and Anne Gleason; five brothers Ben, Al, Chuck (Carol), Vince (Joyce), and Rich (Barb) LaFramboise; several nieces and nephews; and numerous friends. Joe was preceded in death by one daughter Julie White; one sister Marie; and four brothers: Vic, Larry, Bob and Ray. The Funeral Mass will take place 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 24, 2005 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Robert Gohm will officiate with Rite of Committal to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the Stapish Cederberg Funeral Home West on Friday from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m., where a Vigil Service will take place at 7:00 p.m. Joe will lie in state at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the ALS Association. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Visiting Nurse Services & Hospice, and Joe's nephew Mark Michalak for the loving care shown to Joe.
